Bedrooms & Beds

At Sunny Slope Farm

All the bed linens are 100% cotton. There are an abundance of down & hypo-allergenic pillows and comforters; antique farm quilts, and even feather beds on the queen and king-sized beds.

In the Game room

there are two more trundle beds and a twin bed (for a total of 5 sleeping surfaces). This is a large room with a second t.v. and vcr, a game nook, and a large "work counter" for anyone who wants to spread out papers, pictures, sewing, drawing, wedding dresses, etc.

As far as bed's go

In the Blue Bedroom there is a queen-sized bed (with feather mattress).

In the Green Bedroom

there is a (very) king-sized bed with a feather mattress (this could easily sleep 3 smaller to middling-sized people, if anyone is so inclined. (We quite often stack the children in there 'cause there's tons of room in that bed).

There is also a cable tv connection in this bedroom (and a very tiny tv).

In the Flower Bedroom

there is a full-sized bed (or double...what is the difference, do you know?).

In the Yellow Upstairs

Sitting Room (where there is also a desk, as well as a line for a dial-up connection for a laptop) there is a twin trundle bed.

The bottom mattress of the trundle pulls out and lifts up to be ALMOST, but not quite, level with the top mattress, so it wouldn't work well for a couple who prefer a flat mattress-to-mattress double bed configuration. (This is true of all of the trundle beds).

In the Art room

there is a full-(or double?)-sized bed. There is also a desk and a settee in this room. It has a separate entrance out to the back of the house.

That takes care of upstairs.

Downstairs, in the Library, there is a pull-out sofa that sleeps two very friendly people.

We also have a crib and a roll-out cot available, as well as a couple of blow-up air mattresses.

But, please do remember that Sunny Slope Farm, though very healthy indeed for her age, is still an old lady and there are only two bathrooms. We do try to limit the number of people sleeping in the farmhouse to 17, for the sake of her old bones.
