It's about an hour's drive from the Manchester Airport. You will not find Sunny Slope Farm on any map, of course, but you will find Alton on all NH maps. It is located at the tip of the south eastern-most bay of Lake Winnipesaukee.

To get from the airport to here, you are going to come out of the airport & should see signs for Rt. 293 ~ it's an interstate by-pass around Manchester. Take 293 heading east toward Rt. 93 (I THINK the signs will say toward Portsmouth, but I'm not sure). You should go by the Mall of NH on your right and then fairly quickly 293 will send you off to the left (north) to join 93. Take that. (DO NOT be seduced into going off on Rt. 101, I forget which, toward Portsmouth. Stay on Rt. 93).

This is where it gets tricky. I usually take a route thru Hooksett that short-cuts a bit, but it is incredibly convoluted to explain, so I'm going to send you along the route that is most easy to follow. That means you will stay on 93 all the way to Concord, going thru the toll (.75 or $1) on the way there. I think it's about a 20 min. drive from the toll 'til you hit Concord (our state capitol, if you want to go into town & see the capitol bldg. Very pretty).

When you get to Concord on 93 you will see exits that will take you into town; if you don't want to go into town stay on 93 ‘til you see the exit for Rt. 393, another by-pass, this time for Concord. You will be taking 393 to the right, east-north-east, away from Concord. It is very short, will take you under an over-pass and then you will go straight ahead onto Rts. 4/9/202. Follow these for about 10-15 minutes to the Epsom traffic circle (if you get lost, this is a good landmark for which to ask directions).

At the Epsom traffic circle you are going to go 1/2 way around to Rt. 28 toward Alton. Follow Rt. 28 all the way into Alton. It will dump you onto the Alton Traffic Circle, (the Center of the Known Universe), where you will go about 3/4 way around to pick up Rt. 28 again going toward Wolfeboro. Follow Rt. 28 for 8/10ths of a mile ~ you'll see the long, low gray American Legion building on the right about half-way between the Circle and our road ~ and you should soon see the little green street sign for Old Wolfeboro Rd. Turn RIGHT there.

Go up Old Wolfeboro Rd 2/10th of a mile and you will see our Sunny Slope Farm, which has a big white house, a big white stable, a big red barn, on the right, with a corral next to the stable and a sign the says SUNNY SLOPE FARM on the side of the red barn.

They tell me I give good directions, so I hope this all helps and you have no troubles finding us. If you get lost go back to the Alton Traffic Circle to the Wayside gas station there & call us (875-7562). CANNOT WAIT to see you!!!♥
